As a full-time practicing physician in one of the nations busiest Natural Medicine Clinics, Dr David Wood's experience over the last 21 years has been that too many companies produce formulas with limited application, requiring him to prescribe multiple formulas for each patient complaint. This led to complex treatment plans that most patients had difficulty following. He wanted to find a way to improve patient compliance. With this in mind I began formulating products that were more inclusive and with higher therapeutic levels of the ingredients. His experience is that most patients have multiple health issues. If we can address all of their issues with a minimum number of products, we can improve our chances of patient compliance and positive treatment outcomes. Practitioners design BioGenesis products because it is my belief that only active practicing clinicians can fully understand what works and what doesn't. They observe the results. Although quality is essential for any formula to provide superior benefits, the formula itself needs to be designed with the creative insight that only active clinicians can provide. Our formulas are unique in that often several formulas are combined to form a whole that is more effective than the parts.
Quality Statement At BioGenesis, we strongly believe that quality is measured not only by a product¡¯s efficacy, but also by its purity. Raw Materials Before being incorporated into any BioGenesis product, all raw materials are tested for identity and safety. Confirmation of identity and potency is established using validated analytical methodology, including Near IR, HPLC, and organoleptic. Raw materials are also evaluated for safety and are analyzed for heavy metals, microbial contamination, and any additional potential contaminants that may be unique to that ingredient. Identity and safety are tested every lot.
Manufacturing All BioGenesis products have always been manufactured under strict current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). These guidelines ensure that all production, from receipt of raw materials to final packaging, is conducted in accordance with established standard operating procedures (SOPs). Together, these stringent guidelines ensure that the products are made the same every time, through every production process, from beginning to end. These guidelines also encompass more than just product manufacturing ¨C they cover every aspect from maintenance to housekeeping to security procedures. Stringent adherence to cGMP and SOP protocols greatly minimizes the risk of an improperly labeled or impure product. Also as part of our cGMP compliance, we maintain extensive documentation of all steps in the manufacturing process. This allows us to be able to¡± trace our steps¡± should we ever have an inquiry regarding a product or procedure.
Finished Product Before packaging, all finished products are tested again to confirm compliance with quality standards. Finished product testing verifies product safety and compliance with specifications before it is released for distribution.
Third Party BioGenesis products are randomly scheduled for third©\party testing to further verify that all specifications are being met. When we send our products to a third©\party labratory, we select ingredients for verification at random. Why do we do this? Randomly selecting ingredients allows us to make sure product components meet specifications for identity and purity. This gives us a clear validation that all components of BioGenesis products meet our precise designations.
Stability BioGenesis products adhere to stability protocols.
